Der Urspung der Basilika stammt aus dem 1. Jahrhundert. Im 12. Jahrhundert wurde sie überbaut. Im Confessio liegen die Reliquien des hl. Papstes Clemens I. und des Consuls Flavius sowie des hl. Ignatius von Antiochien, Dia-handkoloriert, aus Vortragsreihe: "Rom und seine Kirchen"
