Das Grüne Tor wurde ursprünglich als Stadtschloss für die polnische Könige im 16. Jahrhundert im Stil des flämischen Manierismus nach einem Entwurf von Hans Kramer am östlichen Abschluss des Langen Markt errichtet. The Green Gate was originally built as a castle town for Polish kings in the 16th century in the style of the Flemish Mannerist on a design by Hans Kramer at the eastern end of the Long Market.
