Im Jahre 2010 rettete der deutsche Fotograf und Filmemacher Burkhard von Harder in der ukrainischen Stadt Vinnytsia ca. 10.000 Negative aus den 1950er bis 1980er Jahren. Die Aufnahmen von bisher unbekannten Fotografen gehörten ursprünglich in das aufgelöste Archiv einer Regionalzeitung. Der Filmemacher kann sie mit offizieller ukrainischer Nutzungsgenehmigung für seine künstlerische Arbeit verwenden und kommerzialisieren. Sämtliche Bilder sind auf Nachfrage auch als limitierter print erhältlich.

In 2010, the German photographer and filmmaker Burkhard von Harder saved in the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia approximately 10,000 negatives from the 1950s to the 1980s. The images of previously unknown photographer originally belonged to the dissolved archive of a regional newspaper.
